Frog: Blue Bones, Green Blood
A new Cambodian bush frog has been discovered, this one having green blood and turquoise bones. Biliverdin (metabolic waste usually processed in the liver) is passed into the bloodstream, which may help with camouflage (the skin being translucent) and also might make the frog unpalatable to predators.
