Early Pennsylvania Bigfoot
For those who have picked up a copy of The Historical Bigfoot, add a note. The latest issue of Daniel Perez's Bigfoot Times has an interesting account from an 81-year old Pennsylvania woman who relates a couple of incidents involving a large hairy apelike creature when she was young (circa 1936), that she now thinks may have been a Bigfoot. She grew up on a farm in Fayette County. Pennsylvania, of course, has a fair number of early Bigfoot-like accounts. Along with those noted in HB, I have further details on a lengthy central Pennsylvania flap in the 1920s in Cryptozoology: Science & Speculation. Perez's newsletter is interesting, worth a subscription (available here).
